Carrie G. Fuller, PTA, MHS is a physical therapist assistant and health care leader with more than two decades of experience spanning acute care.

Carrie G. Fuller, PTA, MHS is a physical therapist assistant and health care leader with more than two decades of experience spanning acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, pediatrics, and outpatient practice.

She earned her Associate of Applied Science degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant from Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte, North Carolina, followed by a Bachelor of Arts in Disability Studies from the City University of New York, graduating summa cum laude. Carrie later completed a Master of Health Science in Health Care Education and Administration at Washburn University, where she was inducted into Phi Kappa Phi and graduated with a 4.0 GPA.

Carrie began her PTA career at Carolinas Healthcare System and has since cared for patients in diverse environments, including school-based services in the U.S. Virgin Islands and hospital-based rehabilitation at Level 1 trauma and academic medical centers such as the Mount Sinai Health System and the University of Colorado Hospital. Her advanced clinical training includes certification as a Stroke Rehabilitation Specialist, RPSFC Neuro-Developmental Treatment (NDT) certification, and is a professional yoga therapist in medical therapeutic yoga.

She has also served as a Program Director and faculty member in a Physical Therapist Assistant program, where she developed curriculum and taught students entering the profession. In addition, Carrie has held multiple leadership and advocacy roles within the American Physical Therapy Association, earning honors such as PTA of the Year and awards for excellence, merit, and outstanding service.

Outside of work, Carrie lives in Denver, Colorado, and enjoys skiing, hiking, camping, and spending time with her family.
